The
Headache & Pain Management Program at
Saint Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute
is designed to help people who have severe
chronic headaches or other disabling pain
problems. People with migranes
and chronic intractable tension headaches,
as well as fibromyalgia,
complex
regional pain syndrome, neuralgia,
peripheral neuropathies, facial
pain, Temporomandibular
joint pain, arthritis,
pelvic pain,
Irritable
Bowel Syndrome (IBS),
low back pain and other chronic musculoskeletal
pain problems all receive helpful chronic
pain management services. These painful
medical problems may not respond to medications
alone, may persist even after surgery or
other treatments, and often interfere with
quality of life.
