Barbara Dripps, PhD
Barbara earned her B.A. (Honors) in Psychology in 1979, her M.S.(R) in Clinical Psychology in 1984, and her Ph.D in Clinical Psychology in 1986, all from Saint Louis University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the North Chicago Veterans Administration Medical Center in North Chicago, Illinois. Her internship included a rotation in the outpatient psychiatry clinic of the Great Lakes Naval Hospital. She has provided group therapy to wives of Vietnam Veterans at the Vet Center in St. Louis, Missouri. She has worked at the House of Affirmation in Webster Groves, the Mental Health Group of St. Louis, Alexian Brothers Hospital chemical dependency and day treatment programs, and in private practice. Barbara is a licensed psychologist in Missouri and belongs to the American Psychological Association (APA). Barbara’s principal professional interests are in psychology and religion, clinical assessment, and veterans’ issues including post-traumatic stress disorder.
