Michele Nicosia, Physical Therapist
Michele received her physical therapy degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She has 40 years of practical experience in all areas of Physical Therapy from pediatrics to geriatrics, and acute to chronic care. Her expertise and therapy strategies were developed working in general hospitals, stroke and spinal rehabilitation programs, burn and hand rehabilitation centers, medical offices, nursing homes, home health and behavioral/pain centers. She has worked extensively with children in hospitals, pediatric practices and public/state schools. Her pain management and therapy skills are the culmination of these clinical experiences in conjunction with numerous continuing education programs, which prepared her to work with all physical problems and developed her expertise treating headaches, weight management, shoulder problems, neck/back pain and foot/knee problems.

Being a full-time professional, as well as wife and mother, Michele understands the many demands placed on people today. She realizes that for a therapy program to be successful, functional improvements must be integrated into an individual's daily schedule. Consequently, she works with each person to develop an individualized practical and manageable exercise program that can be done easily in 1-2 minute segments throughout the day.
