Patient Portal

What Is the Patient Portal?

St Louis Behavioral Medicine uses an Electronic Medical Record System called AdvancedMD. This includes a Patient Portal for you to complete documents relevant to your treatment; send messages to our office for routine needs such as appointment scheduling, rescheduling or cancelations; request prescription refills, and request medical records.

  • All diagnoses, triage and treatment services are done only through a scheduled appointment.
  • Portal messages will be addressed by our staff during normal business hours.
  • Messages should be brief and as clear as possible. If a message takes a long time to write or respond to, it is likely better done through an appointment.
  • Non-routine or more complex requests will require an appointment to be scheduled to address your concerns.
  • Correspondence through the Patient Portal becomes part of the patient’s medical record.
  • High utilization of non-routine messaging in the Patient Portal may be subject to our Auxiliary Service Fees.
  • St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute reserves the right to restrict, suspend, disable or terminate access to the Patient Portal for any misuse or abuse of its features.
